Howdy everyone! This blog is here to serve as my winter term project for 2013 and chronicle my adventures traipsing around the UK, France, Turkey, and Switzerland (and perhaps elsewhere if the opportunity strikes). I hope you will find it amusing, I hope it will feature delicious things and lots of history fangirling, and I hope it will serve as a good way to keep in touch with everyone while I’m away! I'm going to kick things off with a summary of what I’ve been up to over break, as it seems weird to me to start in the middle of a story. So sit back, grab a cup of tea, and enjoy the ride.
